Compare
Ten honest comparisons, written for roofing contractors
Answer: there is no single best way to get a roofing website, and any page claiming otherwise is selling you something. Each comparison below names what the other option does well, where it runs out for a roofing business, and when running both is the right answer.
- No invented competitor prices, feature gaps or statistics
- Every page says when the other option is the better fit
- Any specific competitor claim is cited with the date we checked it
- Competitor names as plain text, never a logo we drew ourselves
If you already run GoHighLevel
These three are written as "what does each tool do", not as an argument for leaving a platform that runs your CRM.
If you are weighing a website platform
Self-hosted, hosted builders and visual design tools, compared on the things that decide whether a roofing site produces work.
If you are weighing who does the work
Not a platform question at all: a question about who is still answering in month seven, during storm season.
What every comparison measures, in the same order
Twelve dimensions, identical on all ten pages, so two comparisons can be read side by side without translating between them.
- Page speed and Core Web Vitals
- SEO control
- Schema and structured data
- AEO and GEO readiness
- Hosting and security
- Maintenance burden
- Who does the work
- Content and blog
- Design quality
- Accessibility and policy pages
- Cost model
- Lock-in and ownership
Our side of every table is the same offer: $127 a month, a $697 build fee invoiced after launch, 90+ PageSpeed guaranteed, 5 revisions a month completed within 2 to 5 working days, and hosting, domain and content included. See every feature and which plan carries it.
Questions about choosing between these
Which option is best for a roofing company?
It depends on which part is broken. If the site is thin, slow and never updated, a managed build fixes the thing that is actually costing you work. If you have somebody in-house who enjoys building pages and has the hours, a DIY builder or WordPress is genuinely cheaper. If you have no traffic at all and a budget to spend, a marketing agency running campaigns solves that faster than any website change.
Are these comparisons fair, given that you are one of the options?
We wrote them, so read them with that in mind. What we hold to is factual: no invented competitor prices, no made-up feature gaps, no statistics without a source, and a section on every page saying when the other option is the better choice. Where we state a specific fact about another product it is cited with the date we checked it.
Why do you not list competitor prices?
Because platform plans change constantly and a price quoted here would be wrong within months, which would make this page misleading rather than useful. Every comparison points you to the other product for its current pricing, and states ours plainly: $127 a month plus a $697 build fee invoiced after launch.
Do I have to leave GoHighLevel to work with you?
No. We build and manage the website; your CRM, pipelines, calendars and automations stay where they are. Every form on the site routes into your existing pipeline by direct API, Zapier or Make. Plenty of our clients run both, and the GoHighLevel pages here explain how the two fit together.
What is the single biggest difference between all of these and a managed build?
Who does the work next month. Every platform on this list is capable of hosting a good roofing site. The difference is whether somebody is building the next town page, writing this week's article, sorting the new job photos and switching the storm banner on the morning after a hail event, or whether that is on you.
Will moving lose my search rankings?
Not if the move is done properly. We review your current site, rebuild what is worth keeping and map a 301 redirect from every old URL to its new equivalent before anything goes offline, which is what carries rankings and inbound links across. Your current site stays live until you approve the new one.
How long does a move take?
7 days from your onboarding call on Deck, 10 on Ridge while the AI agents are configured, and 15 on Peak. Your existing site stays up the whole time.
What if I read all ten and decide to stay where I am?
Then the pages did their job. We would rather you kept a setup that works than moved and regretted it. If it helps, book the demo anyway and ask us what we would change about the site you have; the answer is free either way.
